Clubs at the College of Central Florida Ocala Campus have been unifying to host events, encouraging collaboration and teamwork between clubs and organizations.
A unique collaboration that took place on April 4 was the GSA and SWORD Game Club’s Gameathon.
Together, they invited students around CF to join them in enjoying snacks while they played one-shot D&D campaigns, board games, card games, D20 dice-rolling for prizes and a Mario Kart tournament. The winner of the Mario Kart tournament, Aritza Reyes, won a Nintendo Switch Lite.
Students from both clubs and around campus partook in these events in an enjoyable environment.
This event will be a strong example of teamwork within CF and a future of more partnership, coordination and a stronger community on campus.
