Ocala-based artist Jordan Shapot will inspire and instruct the College of Central Florida with art
and creativity in a painting workshop next week. 

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the CF Citrus Campus in Building 4, Room 103. All supplies will be provided, and you get to take your
creation home with you. 

The workshop is first come, first served and limited to 24 participants. It is open to CF students
and staff, and there is no RSVP required to attend. 

Shapot is not a new face around CF. He has attended events such as the First Friday Art Walk
and even hosted the Painting Possibilities art camp at the Appleton Museum of Art. 

An alum of Savannah College of Art and Design, Shapot’s art is a blend of his traditional
knowledge and techniques he has gained over the years. According to his website, he
“focuses on making bold and emotionally driven art.”
